Collection: Baby Feeding Essentials

Starting solids is a big milestone, and a messy one. Our BPA-free silicone feeding range is built to help your baby explore new tastes and textures at their own pace, with less worry for you.

When can babies start solids?

Most babies are ready somewhere around six months, though guidance in Australia is to look for signs of readiness rather than a date on the calendar — sitting with good head control, showing interest in your food, and having lost the reflex that pushes food back out. Your maternal and child health nurse is the best person to talk to if you're unsure.

What is a fruit feeder?

A fruit feeder holds a piece of fruit, vegetable or frozen breastmilk inside a silicone pouch with small openings. Your baby sucks and chews, and only tiny amounts pass through — so they get the taste and texture without a large piece to manage. Many parents also use them frozen during teething, where the cold seems to bring some relief on a rough day.

Choosing feeding gear

Look for food-grade silicone free from BPA, PVC and phthalates. Pieces that come apart make cleaning much easier, and anything dishwasher-safe will save you time you don't have. Check there are no small parts that could work loose.

Always supervise your baby while they're eating, and check any feeding product for wear before each use.
